M.W Thornhill Jr

Born in 1921,DJ Sir RJ's Grandpa, M.W Thornhill Jr had a sterling political career. He served as president of the Lynchburg Voter’s League for over 40 years. He won the Ward II seat on Lynchburg City Council in 1972. He became the FIRST African American Mayor in 1990 and retired in 1992.
